There are some moments that feel straight out of a dream, and Ibtesam’s proposal to Nahla at Cathedral Rock was exactly that. The golden light, the sweeping views of Sedona, and the quiet stillness of the red rocks created the most breathtaking backdrop we could have asked for. Watching the two of them share this life-changing moment against one of nature’s most majestic landscapes felt surreal, and as photographers, it's the kind of scene we live for.

What made this shoot even more special was our connection to Nahla and Ibtesam. We’ve known them since school, and getting to document such a huge chapter in their love story was an honor we didn’t take lightly. The entire Hukam team felt like we were capturing memories for family. From the first step of the hike to the final snap of the camera, it was all about care, love, and making sure everything felt just right for them.

The hike up to Cathedral Rock was no joke. It was steep, winding, and a little chaotic at times, but totally worth every breath and every slip. We even got a little lost on the way down, but that just added to the adventure. We laughed, we climbed, we created memories that none of us will ever forget. This was more than just a photo shoot. It was a story we all lived together, and one we’ll always remember.
